MANTON, MI | 2020 Chevrolet 1500 SilveradoJune 10, 2026I received my vehicle back on Thursday afternoon, June 4th. I only had one episode in which I move the transmission shifter lever into Park, or at least I thought it was completely in Park, but it did not trigger the door locks to open. I attempted to move the shifter back out, but the shifter was frozen and I couldn't move it!! After struggling with the lever for about a minute, suddenly the door locks activated, and I could move the shifter lever. I moved from Drive back to Park and the door locks activated again. A couple days later I took a short trip to my mailbox, and the shifter lever was very stubborn in moving. I discovered the steering column housing cover, and the shift lever boot was coming apart and disengaging from the steering column. I arranged a return visit to the dealership for Friday morning, June 12th.Response from CLASSIC CHEVROLET
