Certified Light Duty Mechanic

We are looking for a Light Duty Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to perform a range of duties and responsibilities that can differ from day to day depending on the jobs that are assigned. This can include anything from routine maintenance work to specialized repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for working with cars. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the automotive industry and become part of a fast-paced team.

Duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment

  • Diagnose mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions

  • Conduct inspections and testing to ensure proper functioning of vehicles and equipment

  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems

  • Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Maintain equipment and tools in good condition

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan Certification

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Pass a Drug Screening and Background Check

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proven experience as a mechanic

  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues

  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems

  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills

  • The physical ability to perform all tasks related to the position of Lube Technician, such as bending and reaching, standing for long periods of time and lifting over 60 pounds

Automotive Detailer and Reconditioning Specialist

We are looking for an Automotive Detail Technician to join our team. The successful candidates main priority is to provide quality detailing and reconditioning of vehicles, helping to build confidence in the company and garner lifelong customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance our customers' positive service experience by detailing cars'

  • Review assignments with supervisor and ensure understanding of detailing work required

  • Perform vehicle cleaning and preparation processes as specified which may include washing, wheel cleaning, waxing and buffing, polishing, removing finish defects, assistance with paint applications and performing minor repair

  • Move vehicles to support production flow through detailing/paint processes

  • Complete work order documentation

  • Maintain detailing and painting tools and equipment including those associated with paint booth

  • Comply with applicable procedures and regulations regarding mixing, labeling, applying and disposing of paint and related materials

  • Observe all applicable job related safety and health procedures

  • Perform other job related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Physical duties include: standing for extended hours, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds

  • Valid driver's license is required

  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test
